About Event

BIT-TECHFEST 2021 is a National Level Virtual Technical Event organized by Industrial Automation Lab on celebrating 25th Year of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu. IAROS2021 focuses in the field of Robotics and Automation applications and implementation of projects in Robot operating system - Virtual Hackathon.

In this event, we have a task-based hackathon under categories. 
1. Robot Operating System Hackathon - 09 September 2021
          i. Task 1 - Solve problems
          ii. Task 2 - Project hackathon - Simulation in ROS/ other software's

The IAROS-2021 event consists of two stages after registration.
The First stage is to provide a solution for the given task in each category (Solver).
The Second stage is to present an innovative project or Idea with simulated results in an online meet. (Project Hackathon)

Problem statement will be updated in the month of September 2021.

Rules:
1. Registered team will get google form for the prior submission of their project proposal and presentation under Industrial Automation category (Task 2)
2. In task 1, the team will be given two problem statements for providing solutions on the day of the event (forenoon).
3. The team should develop a solution for the given problem statement within the period (3 hours)
       i. Team should develop a turtlesim solution for the given problem.
      ii. Team should submit the simulated result in the google form and the form will be closed on time.
4. The selected teams from task 1 will be eligible to present their hardware project to the juries on their respected time slots (online).
       i. The registered team has to prepare a presentation and project report as per the template given and submit it before 30 August 2021.
      ii. The registered team should also prepare a working hardware component.
      iii. The selected teams from task 1 have to present their project simulation or Idea
